Opportunity:
The VASCO North American market is experiencing high growth and has doubled its revenue over the last 3 years. Due to this growth the North American team is expanding and is looking for a Senior Sales Executive (SSE) in the Midwest to help expand our business in the Corporate Access & Network Security markets by targeting Enterprise/Fortune 500 companies.  The SSE will work independently within a regional sales territory to create and execute their territory business plan to identify, prospect, and develop qualified Enterprise opportunities.  This position is highly visible and requires an aggressive and intelligent sales talent with proven sales skills, preferably in selling software solutions.  The ideal SSE candidate will have exceptional customer impact and provide enough value in their sales process that the customer would write a check for the sales meeting.

Responsibilities

The SSE will be responsible for the Midwest territory and professionally manage each account, coordinating all account activity, including: preparation and execution of a sales plan for each opportunity, initial approach, qualification, business needs analysis; risk assessment in terms of value and exposure to VASCO and customer.

To achieve the new business revenue and territory development goals, the SSE will:

  • Aggressively and actively prospect and cold-call to generate new prospects.
  • Maintain a pipeline of 30-50 opportunities at any given time and an accurate quarterly forecast
  • Offer unique perspectives to customers with excellent two-way communication skills
  • Present company overview and business solutions through online and in-person presentations and demonstrations.
  • Creation and delivery of proposals and quotations.
  • Assist marketing to drive prospects and customers to regional marketing events.

Profile

  • Superior knowledge of customer value drivers and ability to identify economic drivers
  • Comfort discussing pricing and value
  • Ability to lead the customer, be a resource, solve problems, and apply pressure
  • Ability to qualify leads and close deals over the phone, or in-person
  • A minimum 7 years experience selling software solutions preferably to the Enterprise/Fortune 500; experience in selling IT Security Solutions a plus
  • Salesforce.com proficiency
  • Strong work ethic and communication skills
  • BA/BS degree in IS, Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or equivalent work experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25- 50% of the time covering a Regional Account Territory
  • Proven track record exceeding million dollar quotas
